Colombia

Explore the jungle rivers and lakes with 3 different types of peacock bass, pacu, payara, catfish, and sardinata. The waters off the coast of Colombia also offer shots at mahi mahi, snapper, tarpon, marlin, sailfish, roosterfish, and yellowfin tuna. They offer full service packages and can accommodate both fly and spin anglers. Colombia is an ideal destination for those wanting to pursue a number of different species in one trip.

Ecuador

The highlands of Ecuador have wild rainbow and brown trout in pristine locations that will take your breath away. Travel to the Amazon and chase after peacock bass, piranha, wolf fish, dorado, and Arapaima on fly. The Galapagos are a bucket list for many anglers and holds numerous species of saltwater trophy fish.

Guyana

Travel to the deep jungle chase after peacock bass, piranha, pacu, arowana, bicuda and Arapaima on fly or conventional. Truly a paradise for a multispecies angler and the waters are so remote that there aren't any other anglers.

Bolivia

While many focus on golden dorado in Bolivia, it is actually home to one of the best locations for sightfishing arapaima on fly.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is an amazingly biodiverse country with jungle trout, machaca (relative of a piranha), tarpon, and snook in the rivers. Offshore, you can pursue marlin, sailfish, roosterfish, bluefin trevally, snapper and many more. Since it is a small country, you can realistically fish both freshwater and saltwater during a single trip. Truly a destination for a multi-species angler.

Honduras

A better known destination which focuses primarily on permit and bonefish but also with chances at tarpon, snook, jacks, and triggerfish. They have sand flats, turtle grass, and corals with plenty of opportunities to sightfish and some wading. At the right time of year, a grand slam is possible in these waters. There are also options for visiting faraway cayes, deep sea fishing, and snorkeling/diving.

Belize

Many have traveled here in search of bonefish and permit, often referred to the permit capital of the world. You will even have the occasional opportunity to throw at a tarpon or a triggerfish. We prefer southern Belize which has less fishing pressure than the more resort-based destinations

Argentina

Famous for their golden dorado in the north and trout to the south, it offers markedly different experiences depending on what you would like to pursue.

Trinidad and Tobago

Mostly wading for large bonefish and small permit on fly, but there are other species present such as box fish. Depending on the time of year, you can also target tarpon.

Grenadines

Based on Union Island, this location offers sand flats for wading and chances at large bonefish as well as permit and tarpon on pristine beaches. There is also the opportunity to venture offshore for some conventional fishing.

Scotland

If you enjoy 2 handed fly rods, then this is for you. Plenty of opportunities to purse salmon on spey in historic rivers. You can of course use a single hand rod in the same waters and it is preferred for smaller tout, pike and grayling.

Portugal

Head to the southern region of Portugal, known as the Algarve, for both freshwater and saltwater fly fishing options in a breathtaking landscape.

Vietnam

Head to the mountain lakes in search of yellowcheek, a pelagic freshwater species that few have caught. There are also opportunities to catch giant snakehead in these waters.

Fly or conventional fish for taimen, grayling, and lenok in a pristine environment.

Northern California

There's a multitude of fishing opportunities in NorCal, from stripers on the river, rainbow trout, largemouth bass, crappie, and steelhead.

San Diego, California

It is truly something special to see a mako shark jump fully into the air and do a flip before landing back into the water with a giant splash! Mako sharks on fly, enough said!

South Texas

Chase redfish, sheepshead, speckled trout, black drum in the shallow waters of southern texas. Perfect opportunities for sightfishing.

New Hampshire

Pursue brook, rainbow, and brown trout in the picturesque White Mountains with seasonal opportunities to catch pike on fly as well.

Maine

Visit this self-sustaining river smallmouth bass fishery or go further north in search of salmon, trout, and pike on fly.

Pinedale, Wyoming

Walk, wade, or float the tranquil rivers of Wyoming, including the Green River. Fish for rainbows, brown, brook and cutthroat trout in the midst of the majestic mountains.

Florida Keys

The Florida Keys have always been an iconic destination and offers the opportunity to pursue bonefish, permit, and tarpon on the flats.

Southwest Florida

Whether it is in Tampa Bay or Pine Island sound, search the flats for redfish, snook, tarpon and sea trout. Lots of sightfishing opportunities, although be prepared for some accurate casting!

Louisiana

Hit the marsh in search of bull redfish, sheepshead, black drum, and sea trout. Lots of opportunities for sightfishing and rather beginner friendly.

Kansas

Pursue carp on the flats just like you would sightfishing for bonefish! If you need variety, you can also hit the rivers for some trout action or the lakes for bass.

Eastern Oregon

The Owyhee River is known for producing quality brown trout in the high desert of Eastern Oregon.

Wisconsin

Just outside of Milwaukee, you can fish the local creeks and rivers for brown trout, steelhead, and salmon. Guided trips to the Driftless region can also be arranged for some fishing in blue river trout streams amongst the rugged landscape.

Idaho

Catering to western Idaho and eastern Oregon, the options are varied from chasing carp on flats to steelhead fishing. An overall excellent fly shop with dedicated staff and guides.

Georgia

Head to the coast to find some redfish, jack crevalle, tripletail and tarpon in the these bountiful waters. There are opportunities for sightfishing. If you prefer the mountains, there is no shortage of picturesque creeks and rivers which hold both trout and warm water species.

Puerto Vallarta

Come to a popular vacation destination and head inshore to pursue a variety of species such as snook, mackerel, jacks, bonito, and snapper. There is also the option to go offshore and try your hand at sailfish, roosterfish, big snapper, jacks, and trevally. They can accomodate both fly and spin anglers!

mexico

Baja Sur

Travel to Baja Sur Mexico in search of monster roosterfish, which is the primary target, however, many other offshore species can be had. Striped marlin, blue trevally, golden trevally, grouper, pampano and many other are abundant in these waters!!

Ascension Bay

Wade the beautiful flats in search of tailing bonefish, permit, snook, tarpon, and barracuda in one of the top destinations in the world. A grand slam is possible in this part of the world, but there are larger populations of bonefish and permit.
